Hello again! How are all my blessed friends doing? I missed a day or two again writing in my journal,but what else is new? LOL! Today I want to share with you a little tidbit of a chapter in a book I wrote in 2000.Keep in mind that when this was written,I was miles away from home,had made a bad decision to follow what I THOUGHT was my soul mate,was working the graveyard shift at a doughnut shop! This tidbit however,is a lighthearted approach to relationships.There is actually some good advice in it,though it is very unique.But imagine you are far from home,your separated from all your friends and family,in a strange town,where everyone is in their own little world,and anytime you open your mouth and speak to them,they say,"Ha ha ha your not from here,are you?" This is from Ohio residents. Then when I tell them where I am from,they burst into song singing,"OOOOOKlahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains...!"I love the state song,don't get me wrong,but after hearing it in mockery fifty times a day,it loses it's zing! Especially when the people singing it cannot carry a tune in a bucket! No offense to my nourthern neighbors,I love you every one,but I love the way we praise the Lord down south where I come from! Here you go,may this little tidbit from the imagination of "Dr. Sunshine" bring your day a good laugh which is probably much needed about now!
Preface: This book is dedicated to every woman who has ever wondered about life,and what her purpose is.It is hoped to bring laughter,and a greater joy of life.
It is also hoped to allow you to reflect on your own personal emotions.Don't be afraid to cry.
"Don't worry,eat a doughnut!" You are loved.No matter what the voice in your ear might say,you have a destiny mapped out by God,and an angel over your shoulder to guide you through.

Chapter One:"The Whole Doughnut":Why am I Here?
The Big Question:"Why am I Here?" Perplexing,isn't it? Here is another question for you."Why do doughnuts have a hole right in the middle of them?" Do you ever ask yourself questions such as these to yourself? Sure! Every woman does! The difference between a man and a woman,men do not admit it often. Now,Now,Now,for you men reading this book,let me correct myself.I did not say "Men NEVER ask and admit these questions."In fact,there are three times a man probably asks questions that we women do.
1)In the shower
2)In the presence of another man
3)In the presence of their soul mate
Why do we women seem to be incomplete without our other halves?Ask God.He created it that way.He created Adam,(THE MAN) first.Then, out of the dust and one of Adam's ribs,God created Eve (THE WOMAN) to be his help mate.He created her to be his companion and his soul mate,to complete him.You see,God knew that no matter how intelligent and brilliant Adam was,he still was missing something to fulfill his life.My opinion is,that when God took the rib from Adam,something happened to his brain.Maybe,inside his rib,there was part of Adam's qualities that went into Eve,the woman.Therefore,Adam was missing certain things that he needed.Now,they are inside his woman.So get ready men.Brace yourself. I know this is going to hit hard on your little egos,but men need women just as much as women need men.You see,two became one.Now,in every man and woman who is born,it is already destined for each and every one of us to have a mate.
For every person who has lost hope,and are so tired of being treated unjust,hold on..GOD IS COMING!!!The Bible tells us that one day all of us will stand in judgment before God for each and every day we have lived on this Earth.Until then,life stinks! Reality is gloom,and why are we here? There is that BIG question again!We all need to do some soul searching.God has a plan for each and every one of us and it is all for our best life possible! God wants to bless his children! But,we have to give him the authority and give every part of our lives to him so he can bless us!
Back to the other perplexing question,"Why do donuts have a hole right in the middle of them?"These are my well thought out theories! You can pick one of these that you like best,or think of your own theory! Have fun with it!
Theory 1)Without the hole in the complete doughnut,we would not have doughnut holes.The lovely,scrumptious taste that melts in your mouth.The thrill of the whole doughnut in just one bite! So, for the women who are counting calories,the doughnut hole is the best choice!
Theory 2)Without a hole in your doughnut,your thumb would not fit so perfectly inside to hold your doughnut.
Theory 3)Doughnuts were created to be the perfect pastry.They add a sense of style to your morning.Without the hole,they would simply be a boring biscuit with sugar.Who would buy that?
Theory 4)Doughnuts were created to invoke crazy questions in the mind of the eater while they eat.They stimulate our stale,sleepy minds to awaken.
Now,in conclusion,there are two kinds of people in this world.The doughnut and the doughnut hole.The man and the woman.Though both can exist without the other,when you combine the two,you have perfection as close as it gets!The man is the doughnut of course.He must exist before the doughnut hole,or the woman can exist.
Try this sometime.Buy a doughnut and then buy a doughnut hole.Try to fit them perfectly together,joined into one.Sometimes it will work,and sometimes it will not! DON"T PANIC WOMEN! You are just as wonderful as all the other millions of doughnut holes in this world.The key is,you must belong to your doughnut.When you find your doughnut that you are destined to have,you will fit perfectly inside and be jointly joined together as one! Do not give up the search until you find him.When you do find your doughnut,lavish him! Enjoy every bite! This only happens once in a lifetime.Do not get greedy,do not get impatient,and do not try to force your hole into any old doughnut.It will never work.One day,he will see that you don't fit,and he will throw you back into the huge trash can with all the others that have been discarded.This will not be the end of your life,however,as you may think while sitting in that trash can.All of us have been there,and many soon will return.Use this time to learn,and collect yourself.Talk to the other doughnut holes,and find encouragement.You are not alone.Then,when you are confident,climb back out and try again!You have the perfect doughnut! God has created him! Do not settle for anything less.You are a beautiful woman inside and out because God does not make junk!
I hope that this tidbit has brought you some encouragement and a good laugh.What are friends for anyway! A merry heart doeth good like a medicine,we read in God's Word! Have you had your medicine today?
