It's time for something NEW!

Hello friends,how are you all today?
The Lord has put a message on my heart today that has me excited and fired up! I was sitting around and kind of feeling a little down,and God begin to speak to me on this matter! He said,we need a NEW anointing for every new day! He told me to do a study on the word "new" in his word! I begin to search and have been amazed already at what I have found!
When you become saved the word says in

26. Psalm 33:3
    Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
    
27. Psalm 40:3
    And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
    
28. Psalm 81:3
    Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
    
29. Psalm 96:1
    O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
    
30. Psalm 98:1
    O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
    
31. Psalm 144:9
    I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
    
32. Psalm 149:1
    Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
    
33. Proverbs 3:10
    So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
    

This is only a few of the scriptures that talk about newness with God! Praise the Lord with a NEW SONG! Its time we get out of the past and move on to what God has for us right now! What worked for grandma and grandpa will not always work for us,we live in a new generation and a new era of problems that were not evident back then! The truths of God never change,but the anointing of God is ever changing for exactly what his people need at that day and that hour! God is the same and his word does not change,but his way of moving can change and does change when you let him be God and stop limiting him to what you want him to do! If you are hungry for more of God,this message is for you today! We need a new touch,a new anointing,and a new song for each and every day! You would not used old oil from ten or twenty years ago to cook your fresh food in,so why are you holding on to your same spiritual oil that has grown old and stinketh! We need to get on our knees before God and began to let His will be done in our lives! The youth of today is the church of tomorrow,and we need to examine what we are teaching them! There is a new anointing that is going to reach them,and it is not old,and dead,and dry! It is fresh and exciting,and full of life and joy! Praise God! I hope your wood has been set a fire today with God's word,because if we dont get up and do something,we will remain depressed,and down hearted and defeated,while millions around us are perishing! Its time we began to stop telling our God about our problems,and start telling our problems about our God! Be blessed and highly favored of the Lord today! Praise God for Persecution

Hello friends! What a hectic life we all lead! I finally found a moment to breathe! Praise God! But I would not trade our God led life for anything in this world! Today I want to encourage you! If you are living for God and doing your best to help others no matter what the cost,you will be persecuted! But here is the good news.REJOICE! For your rewards are greatly adding up in your Heavenly Home! Matthew 5:10
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Matthew 5:12
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
John 15:20
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
We know that God has a plan,and his plan makes no sense to this world!
We must keep God's promises in our heart at all times,so that when the enemy comes to steal,kill and destroy,you have God's promises! So all of God's children,be greatly excited and REJOICE in your persecution,for your reward is great in the home that God has prepared for you,and nothing else really matters,as this life we are living on this earth is only temporary! God bless you today! and as always,"Have a happy thought day!" Remember,nobody or no power can steal your joy,because it cometh from God,and you can CHOOSE joy,and peace,and mercy,and grace,and love today! You are the only Bible some will ever read,so let us be about the Father's business always! May you be healed and whole in Jesus name! God does take care of his children,and He will not let more come upon you than you can bear,Do not let hurt,anger,bitterness,and unforgiveness stay in your heart,for you hurt not the ones who have hurt you by allowing this,but you hurt only yourself! Cure for Depression

Hello Friends! This is "Dr.Sunshine"once again.Today I want to talk to you about depression.I can talk to you on this matter because I have at times in the past been a victim of this cruel disease.I was minutes away from death because of this horrible stronghold of the enemy on my life. Depression kills people everyday.Many times the medicines the doctors put you on,only make you more depressed.More detached from life,and numb to all emotions and change you into a horrible state of being that is not even human! I can say this because I lived it.

Doctors can only try things and see what happens.Everyone reacts different to the medicines,and they alter your brain function. God made you the way you are,and he is the only one who knows how to mend you when you are broken.

There is hope for you if you suffer from depression,and have lost all will to live.This is one of the biggest tools of the enemy is to get you so down,and feeling so unloved,and unworthy of anyones love that you do not even want to live.

After almost losing my life several times over this illness,and being prayed for by some people of God who were stronger than I was at these times,God delievered me completely out of this pit I was finding myself in over and over again. The last time it attacked,there was not logical reason for it.I had a man that loved me,and I had everything looking up in the natural eye.But depression is a spiritual disease.It is an attack of satan in order to take you out.If you have never had depression,then it is hard for you to understand others who battle it.You look at what YOU see in their life,and you judge them.You say things like"Why dont they just get over it!" or "They just are doing this to get attention."People until you have been a victim of this disease,you have no idea what you are saying.We all get down from time to time,but the spirit of depression is a demonic stronghold put on you to take you out!You cannot get over it on your own,it takes God to battle this thing and the anointing to break the yoke of bondage off of you.And it takes some prayer warriors who are not afraid to battle in the spirit for you and pray to get you set free.

Do you know someone who is depressed today? Maybe it is you.Maybe a loved one.This is not something to play around with people,or laugh at or take lightly.

There is hope,but it is in Jesus Christ.If you or someone you love is battling with this,please email me or message me and I will pray because I know I had lost all hope of getting better.It was a generational curse passed down in my family genes,and it had me too.The doctors tried every drug and combination of drugs they knew of,and I only grew worse,until Jesus stepped on the scene!

Here is some scripture to encourage you today,and if you are battling depression,there is hope and you can be set free.All you have to do is let God set you free! Ask for prayer! I have a burden for this disease,because I have been through it,and I know how it hurts to be in it,and I know how it is a brand new joy and a brand new life,when you are delivered from it!

Read Mark Chapter Five,Verses 1-20. This is an example in God's word how depression can effect you when it has a hold. This is an extreme example,but if depression is not healed,it can ultimatly lead you to this same place.How many teens and young men and women have you known personally or heard about that are cutting themselves,and trying to end their lives! People this is serious! If we as Christians do not care enough for our brothers and sisters in Christ enough to want to see them set free,something is wrong!

Let God minister to you today,and just began to cry out to him and tell him how you feel.He's never too busy and He wants to hear from you.When you hurt,so does he.Let the healing begin today and realize,you are not alone. God BLess you all today!

Sunday School Picnic

Hello Friends,Today I would like to share with you a wonderful story that I read out of my Homecoming Magazine.It is by Bob Benson,and it will stir your heart! It is called "Sunday School Picnic."

Do you remember when they had old-fashioned Sunday School Picnics? It was before air-conditioning.
They said,"We'll meet at Sycamore Lodge in Shelby Park at 4:30 Saturday.
You bring your supper and we'll furnish the tea."

But you came home at the last minute and when you got ready to pack your lunch,all you could find in the refrigerator was one dried up piece of baloney and just enough mustard in the bottom of the jar so that you got it all over your knuckles trying to get it.And there were just two stale pieces of bread.So you made your baloney sandwich and wrapped it in some brown bag and went to the picnic.
When it came time to eat,you sat at the end of a table and spread out your sandwich. But the folks next to you-the lady was a good cook and she had worked all day and she had fried chicken and baked beans and potato salad and homemade rolls and sliced tomatoes and pickles and olives and celery and topped it off with two big homemade chocolate pies.And they spread it all out beside you . And there you were with your baloney sandwich.
But they said to you,"Why dont we put it all together?" "No,I couldnt do that,I just couldn't think of it,you murmured,embarrassed.
"Oh,Come on! There's plenty of chicken,and plenty of pie,and plenty of everything-and we just love baloney sandwiches."Let's just put it all together." And so you did and there you sat-eating like a king,when you came a pauper.
And I get to thinking-I think of me"sharing in the very being of God."
When I think of how little I bring,and how much He brings and that he invites me to share. I know I should be shouting from the housetops but I am so filled with awe and wonder that I can barely be heard.
I know you don't have enough love and faith,or grace,or mercy or wisdom.But he has. He has all those things in abundance and says,"Let's just put it all together.Everything I possess is available to you.Everything I am and can be to a person,I will be to you."

When I think about it like that,it really amuses me to see somebody running along through life hanging on to their dumb bag with that stale baloney sandwich saying,"God's not going to get my sandwich! No,sirree,this is mine!"

Did you ever see anybody like that? So needy--just about half-starved to death,hanging on for dear life?
It's not that He needs your sandwich.The fact is,YOU need HIS chicken.

Has this story touched your life today? It sure did mine and we all can reflect on the way we treat God and the way we treat others. Jesus said,if you see a brother in need,help him.If you have two coats,give him one,if you have two cans of food,give one,if your enemy is thirsty,give him drink.If he hungers,give him food. It's time people to let go and let God! Let God take your life and mold it into His will for you,after all,He has a feast waiting for you. The table is spread and he says,Come and Dine. Who wants an old baloney sandwich when God has the best of the best for you! God bless you today and get on your knees and let go and let God!

Hello Friends..I wanted to share with you a song that touches my heart.I know there is healing in this worship song,and I felt in the spiritual realm that there are many of you who feel down today.You are in a rut and need encouraged.This beautiful song is about Mary Magdalene who was once a woman of the night,and then Jesus changed her life.It was not long after the events that took place in this song that Jesus was crucified.Mary brought a very expensive box full of costly oil and poured it all on Jesus feet in complete worship to him,and dried his feet with her own hair.She anointed Jesus and blessed Him and the precious oils in her box are what anointed him and prepared his body for what it was about to go through. Are you going through the fire today?Feeling like nobody understands you and nobody cares? Well,understand that Jesus is your Savior and He cares for you.And when you cry,he cries,and when you laugh,he laughs,and when you mourn and feel like you have not a friend in the world,He is there,and waiting for you to lean into his everlasting arms of love,and the anointing of his love will break every yoke of the bondage you are in.Then begin to pour all your hurts out of you and lay them at His feet.Let your box that is inside pour out your worship as oil onto Him! Welcome to Heaven, Our Dear Friend!

Hello Friends,I came today with a heavy heart.My sister and I said goodbye to a very dear friend.Her Name was Carolyn. God sent her into my sister's life at a time when she needed her the most.Not only did my sister need her,she needed my sister,and our family.She had no family at all left.She had a sister somewhere but did not even know her name or anything,or how to find her.Carolyn was a beautiful,loving,giving person.Having had the love of her life pass away,and going into a coma for many months,God miraculously brought her out of.The doctors said she would never walk again,or have normal brain function.God restored her health and she lived several more years.During those last few years is when God brought her into our family.She was always there night or day for us,and cooked many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners,as well as bought and prepared food for every holiday,and a huge firework display on Independence Day for all of our family to enjoy.She gave freely of her time and whatever she had that could help,she always wanted to and did do.She was funny and brought laughter and joy along with her wonderful loving,and giving heart.At Christmas,she bought everyone gifts from the smallest to oldest.She prayed every night and every morning and loved God with all her heart.She was a beautiful testimony of the miraculous power of God,and a wonderful gift to our family sent by God to us all.We will all miss her greatly,and there won't be a Holiday or Birthday that goes by,that we don't remember her presence and smile.God has received her now,and she is now sitting under the tree of life,splashing in the River of Life,walking down the streets of gold,and running and dancing with the angels.She is where we all are longing to go.She has no pain and no tears and sits at Jesus feet to praise him face to face.How is your life today? If you died this minute or tonight,do you know where you will spend eternity? If you have any doubts,I beg and plead of you to call out to Jesus and ask him into your heart,and give him your life today,so that you too may be in your Heavenly Home when your time on this Earth is done.Jesus is waiting with open arms to receive you! We love you Carolyn,and we shall carry the wonderful memories of you in our hearts forever until we meet again.May God be with you all today as you reflect on your own life.

Be Not Overcome with Evil,But Overcome Evil with Good

Hello Friends,this is "Dr.Sunshine" . Today I want to share with you some helpful scripture to speak when it seems that evil or bad things are happening all around you,and no matter how hard you try,it seems that catastrophy is your middle name!
Let me assure you that when you walk with God,you can have the peace in knowing that your steps are ordered by Him,and he is ever watching over your life with His Almighty hand of protection.
I know there are many of you today reading this blog who really do not believe in the supernatural. I assure you that I have seen and felt and witnessed things all during my life time,since I was a little child in the Spiritual realm in my personal life and others lives as well.
The devil is real.His demons are real. But God is also real.His angels are real.
The Word of God tells us that the devil,our adversary roams around like a roaring lion,seeking whom he may devour.
Notice it says seeking whom he MAY devour.
Let me tell you that if Jesus Christ lives in your heart and He is the head of your life,you have no reason to fear! You see,the enemy's job is to try millions of ways and things on you to see if they MAY work on you.
YOU have the authority to choose not to let him in your heart and in your home.
Romans 14:13 says,"Put on the whole armour of God,that ye may be able to stand against the whiles of the devil."
Ephesians 6:11 says,"My son,if sinners entice thee,consent thou not."
1 Peter 5:8,9 says,"Be sober,be vigilant;because your adversary the devil,as a roaring lion,walketh about,seeking whom he may devour:Whom resist steadfast in the faith,knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
James 4:7 says,"Submit yourselves therefore to God.Resist the devil,and he will flee from you.
My brothers and sisters,we can not become lazy in our comfort zones.The devil never sleeps! We must stay prepared to fight battles at a moments notice! We must be instant in season and out of season! When an enemy is planning an attack,his first step is to learn all about his subject of attack. What are their habits>? What are their weaknesses? Where is there a weak link in their chain and structure? When your opponent finds all this out about you,then he makes a plan to take you down and put you out of his way! So,you must keep on your armour of God!
Your Helmet of Salvation
Your Breastplate of Righteousness
Your Shield of Faith
Your Sword:The Word of God
Be not weary in well doing.For your labor for the Lord is not in vain.In due time you will reap every good thing you have sown.
You must keep your focus,and not sway to the left nor to the right.
This battle we fight is not against flesh and blood,but against spiritual wickedness in high places...so when a human person is putting out evilness and hatefulness,and deceitfulness,be assured it is not them as a person you war against,it is the darkness that they have chosen to let into their heart. Do not take it personally when people come against you.When you are truly serving God and doing his work,you will be persecuted for Christ's sake. But do not render evil for evil,but overcome evil with good! If your enemy hunger,give him food.If he thirst,give him drink.Pray for those who despitefully use you.In doing so,you heap coals of fire on their head!
We are all children of God and all made in His image.But we all have the choice who we want to serve. If you are not serving God,your serving the devil,whether you realize that or not! Lets get our armour on,get all this anger,bitterness,jealousy,hatred,deceit ,and unforgiveness out of our hearts today!
Then lets let Jesus fill our life with his wonderful love,joy,and peace!
When you let yourself take part in these things that are not in Gods plan..anger etc....You are not hurting your enemy,you are hurting yourself. Gods word says that if we do not forgive,we can not be forgiven.
I love you all and hope that I have encouraged you today with God's Word!
For Gods Word is true,and the truth will make you free!!!

Sing,Sing,Sing and let God's Praises Ring

Hello My Happy friends! Its so good to be back on my blogsite.I apologize it has been so long since we have got to share our happy days together. I have been feeling under the weather,and we have been super busy! But God is an awesome God and he is greatly to be praised and I have found out that the very best way to get out of the sickness,the depression,the anger,the hurt feelings,the feeling of no peace and worries of this trying life is simply to praise the lord. Sing,sing,sing,sing unto him a new song for he has triumphed victorious over every trial and storm in this life we go through.
Psalm 89:5 says "Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord."

Psalm 50:23 says "Oh that men would praise the Lord for the goodness,and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"

Psalm 113:3 says "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised."

God's word talks about praise many many times and therefore it must be important and crucial for us to keep our joy when the world is crashing all around us,we can have joy because our joy didnt come from this world,and the world cannot take it away from us!
Our problem as humans living in this world and in the flesh is we let the worlds cares and worries overtake us. People we have got to start focusing on the next life which is where we will spend eternity! We cannot take anything from this life with us when we go! We cannot add anything to our lives by worrying.We must start to live one day at a time because each day has enough to think on for that day.We cannot change our past and we are not promised that we will still be here tomorrow,so lets just take all of our problems and worries and lay them at Jesus feet.We don't carry these burdens alone.We have Jesus walking right beside us. He longs to hear from us everyday.He wants us to be his friend,and make him our best friend! He longs to hear our praise and just our thoughts and feelings. I want to encourage you today that whatever you are going through begin to praise God now because He is in control and He will see you through this trial,and turn it into a triumph for His glory in your life.If you do not know Jesus,he is standing at the door of your heart and knocking for you to let him into your life!He loves you so much! Hello Friends! I am so excited about what God is doing in our ministry and in our lives! Last night at the tent Revival,a woman that had not walked in five years was prayed for,and miraculously healed and she got up and walked out of her wheelchair! I am telling you that I know that God is still in the miracle working business! If you need a miracle in your life,maybe the doctors have given you no hope or your in such depression you are ready to end your life,whatever the problem is,God is waiting to fix you and make you new and give you love ,peace,and joy and hope for there are better days ahead! Do not stay in the shape you are in! If you choose to pass him up,it is your own fault.God loves us all and he is patiently waiting to change your situation around for His Glory! Do not let the enemy steal the blessing God has for you today! Call upon Him and give him everything you have to give! He will amaze you with what he has for your life.You are all called to do something for God.You have all been given talents and gifts that you need to be using for God and his glory to help others.You may not know it,but others are watching your life! Your a testimony to many people tho you ever hear from them or not! Let God use you to bring others to the Kingdom that they may have this abundant life that you have! Wade in The Water

Hello My Happy Friends! God is so good today,isn't He? I want you to know that God is telling his children today,are you hot?Thirsty? Dry? Tired of the same ole things going wrong in your life day in and day out? Are you stuck in a rut? A rut that is not going anywhere or accomplishing anything? You see when you are in a rut,you are working yourself to death trying to get over it..You move really hard backwards,then forwards,but all you do is create a bigger hole and you cannot seem to get out! God is telling us today that He is reaching down his hand unto you.Grab hold of it and He will pull you out by the power of the Holy Ghost! You need a fresh rain from that living well of water that never runs dry! Open up your mouth and let God fill it with fresh,clean,cold clear water and begin to shout and dance and give him a new praise that you never have given him before,and watch what he is about to do in your life! Your miracles are on the way! They have already been ordained by God and its time for you to open up your mouth and decree them in Jesus name! Speak Gods word and watch it come to pass! Whew! I feel like shouting! Dancin! God is an On Time God! Give Him all the praise today and watch what He is going to do for you in the next few days! Look up! Your redemption draweth Nigh

God is a good God and worthy to be praised! I am very excited to tell you that our Revival in Bixby has brought many miracles into people's lives,including ours! God is working in a mighty way! You do not want to miss your blessing and if you know people that need a miracle and encouraged in the Lord,please invite them to come. We are at 148th and Memorial! We will be there all week! Channel 47 will be announcing our meetings in the morning on Joyce Meyer's show! God is awesome and whatever it is you need, the banquet table is spread and He is ready to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think in your life! Come and receive from God that you and your family may be blessed! I have not had time to do a blog since July 7th! We have just been rocking and rolling for the Lord and doing each task he has told us to do! But I have not forgotten about all of you! I want to give you a happy thought today! God is in the midst of your storm! He's in the valley you go through and He's in the mountain that you are climbing! He will bring you rest,food,and comfort.You do not walk alone! Every trial you go through strengthens your faith! We are tried by fire,so that we may come out as pure gold,shining with Gods glory! Don't give up no matter what it looks like! Turn those annoying flies into Sweet little Joyful Friends!

What a beautiful day that the Lord has made! I will rejoice and be glad in it! I will praise the Lord continually.His praise will be on my heart and I will sing unto Him a new song! A song of hope! A song of joy! A song of praise! A song of peace! A song of freedom and liberty! God is good and greatly to be praised! Have you gave our God a praise today? And have you given it will all your heart,your soul,and your strength? This is how you overcome the blues. When you open up your mouth and begin to give God praise,His spirit comes down upon you and you cannot stay the same! Sickness must flee! Depression must flee! poverty must flee! Fear and doubt must flee! Oh to be in His glorious presence where all is at rest and at perfect peace! What else do we really need? What the world needs now is more love.More joy.More peace!
James 3:17 says:"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure,then peaceable,gentle,and easy to be intreated,full of mercy and good fruits,without partiality,and without hypocrisy." If people are treating you badly and you are not finding these things in your life,look around right in the mirror of your heart. The Bible says that whatever a man soweth,so shall he reap. If you are treating others in the way that you seem to be getting treated,maybe you need to check your garden,see what seeds you have planted that are growing there. If you have planted bad seeds,just give them time and they will eventually die,UNLESS you keep feeding them. Plant you some NEW seeds of kindness and gentleness and love and joy and watch what begins to happen.You will find that the meanest of grumpy grouches can even change with enough love and sweetness! Ever notice that the flies are drawn most to the honey? Well,the pesky little things even want love in their life too! Ever had an annoying employee,or classmate,or co worker,or family member that just wont go away? Feed them the love,the HONEY..They will either grow tired of it,and leave you alone,or they will start to be nicer to you as well.Either way,you will come out on the winning side! Thank You Lord for my Children

Hello my friends! How was your fourth of July Celebration? Mine was wonderful! My youngest son turned fifteen yesterday.He was only 40 minutes shy of being an Independence Day Baby! So we always celebrate his birthday at the same time we celebrate our freedom! That makes for an awesome combination! Time goes by so quickly.Seems just like yesterday,I held my little 6 pound,7 ounce baby in my arms.He was a fighter from the start. The Lord told me to name him Caleb,and his name matches him perfect! I was in labor with him for over 72 hours of hard labor.The doctor was off playing golf,and they realized after we both almost died that the cord was wrapped around his neck.They finally did an emergency cesearian and his lungs collapsed. They rushed him to Saint Francis and all I got to do was touch his little arm through a hole in the incubator he was transported in. I was in such bad health that i had to remain in the hospital for two more weeks. I did not get to even hold him until he was over three weeks old. The doctors told us that he would have to remain in the intensive care unit at least 6 months. We prayed for him and in 4 weeks time he was coming home! He was a fighter! Just like Caleb in the Bible who was one of the only two children of Israel that believed the good report that God told them about the Promised Land. The other spies said,"Oh,yes the land is full of fruit and as wonderful as you have said,but there are giants that are guarding it,and there is no way we can defeat them!" Caleb and Joshua were the two that said,"We are more than able to possess the land that God has promised us!" My son has been a fighter and a believer from the time he was born. When others tell him he cannot do something,he works extra hard to show them that with God's help,nothing is impossible! When I was pregnant with him,every ultrasound showed that he was a girl. But the very last one showed him as the man in Christ that God had created. Caleb is a joy to every one that is around him. He loves his family and God more than anything in this world.I thank God every day for my children. My oldest son Jacob is also a very anointed talented man of God that has been called to preach and praise for the Lord.Every instrument he picks up,he learns very easily and quickly. He loves his brother very much. God knew that they needed each other in the road of life ahead. I am expecting and patiently awaiting the little girl that God promised to me. And when she comes along,I have no doubt that her big brothers will love and protect her as only brothers can. God is wonderful! His blessings can never compare to anything satan can offer us. I thank him and praise him continually,and I encourage you to do the same. Look around you and your life,and I guarantee that you will be able to make a whole list of things to thank him for! How do doughnuts compare to relationships?

Hello again! How are all my blessed friends doing? I missed a day or two again writing in my journal,but what else is new? LOL! Today I want to share with you a little tidbit of a chapter in a book I wrote in 2000.Keep in mind that when this was written,I was miles away from home,had made a bad decision to follow what I THOUGHT was my soul mate,was working the graveyard shift at a doughnut shop! This tidbit however,is a lighthearted approach to relationships.There is actually some good advice in it,though it is very unique.But imagine you are far from home,your separated from all your friends and family,in a strange town,where everyone is in their own little world,and anytime you open your mouth and speak to them,they say,"Ha ha ha your not from here,are you?" This is from Ohio residents. Then when I tell them where I am from,they burst into song singing,"OOOOOKlahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains...!"I love the state song,don't get me wrong,but after hearing it in mockery fifty times a day,it loses it's zing! Especially when the people singing it cannot carry a tune in a bucket! No offense to my nourthern neighbors,I love you every one,but I love the way we praise the Lord down south where I come from! Here you go,may this little tidbit from the imagination of "Dr. Sunshine" bring your day a good laugh which is probably much needed about now!

Chapter One:"The Whole Doughnut":Why am I Here?
The Big Question:"Why am I Here?" Perplexing,isn't it? Here is another question for you."Why do doughnuts have a hole right in the middle of them?" Do you ever ask yourself questions such as these to yourself? Sure! Every woman does! The difference between a man and a woman,men do not admit it often. Now,Now,Now,for you men reading this book,let me correct myself.I did not say "Men NEVER ask and admit these questions."In fact,there are three times a man probably asks questions that we women do.
1)In the shower
2)In the presence of another man
3)In the presence of their soul mate
Why do we women seem to be incomplete without our other halves?Ask God.He created it that way.He created Adam,(THE MAN) first.Then, out of the dust and one of Adam's ribs,God created Eve (THE WOMAN) to be his help mate.He created her to be his companion and his soul mate,to complete him.You see,God knew that no matter how intelligent and brilliant Adam was,he still was missing something to fulfill his life.My opinion is,that when God took the rib from Adam,something happened to his brain.Maybe,inside his rib,there was part of Adam's qualities that went into Eve,the woman.Therefore,Adam was missing certain things that he needed.Now,they are inside his woman.So get ready men.Brace yourself. I know this is going to hit hard on your little egos,but men need women just as much as women need men.You see,two became one.Now,in every man and woman who is born,it is already destined for each and every one of us to have a mate.
For every person who has lost hope,and are so tired of being treated unjust,hold on..GOD IS COMING!!!The Bible tells us that one day all of us will stand in judgment before God for each and every day we have lived on this Earth.Until then,life stinks! Reality is gloom,and why are we here? There is that BIG question again!We all need to do some soul searching.God has a plan for each and every one of us and it is all for our best life possible! God wants to bless his children! But,we have to give him the authority and give every part of our lives to him so he can bless us!
Back to the other perplexing question,"Why do donuts have a hole right in the middle of them?"These are my well thought out theories! You can pick one of these that you like best,or think of your own theory! Have fun with it!
Theory 1)Without the hole in the complete doughnut,we would not have doughnut holes.The lovely,scrumptious taste that melts in your mouth.The thrill of the whole doughnut in just one bite! So, for the women who are counting calories,the doughnut hole is the best choice!
Theory 2)Without a hole in your doughnut,your thumb would not fit so perfectly inside to hold your doughnut.
Theory 3)Doughnuts were created to be the perfect pastry.They add a sense of style to your morning.Without the hole,they would simply be a boring biscuit with sugar.Who would buy that?
Theory 4)Doughnuts were created to invoke crazy questions in the mind of the eater while they eat.They stimulate our stale,sleepy minds to awaken.

Now,in conclusion,there are two kinds of people in this world.The doughnut and the doughnut hole.The man and the woman.Though both can exist without the other,when you combine the two,you have perfection as close as it gets!The man is the doughnut of course.He must exist before the doughnut hole,or the woman can exist.
Try this sometime.Buy a doughnut and then buy a doughnut hole.Try to fit them perfectly together,joined into one.Sometimes it will work,and sometimes it will not! DON"T PANIC WOMEN! You are just as wonderful as all the other millions of doughnut holes in this world.The key is,you must belong to your doughnut.When you find your doughnut that you are destined to have,you will fit perfectly inside and be jointly joined together as one! Do not give up the search until you find him.When you do find your doughnut,lavish him! Enjoy every bite! This only happens once in a lifetime.Do not get greedy,do not get impatient,and do not try to force your hole into any old doughnut.It will never work.One day,he will see that you don't fit,and he will throw you back into the huge trash can with all the others that have been discarded.This will not be the end of your life,however,as you may think while sitting in that trash can.All of us have been there,and many soon will return.Use this time to learn,and collect yourself.Talk to the other doughnut holes,and find encouragement.You are not alone.Then,when you are confident,climb back out and try again!You have the perfect doughnut! God has created him! Do not settle for anything less.You are a beautiful woman inside and out because God does not make junk!

Hello friends! Today I want to share with you one of the poems I have written. I believe it will bless your heart. There are many things we go through in this life that we do not understand at the time we are going through them.But God is faithful to show up and show us what the trial was for later in His timing. This poem was written in 2003.I had strayed away from God for a season and after coming back home to him and realizing I should have never left,He gave me this poem.May you be blessed by it today,and through sharing the experiences of others,may you find peace in knowing that you are not alone in the trials you go through in this life.

"My Canvas"
And this is my canvas
My Rainbow of dreams
My nightmares of failure
The white paper of life
Etched with God's love
He created the masterpiece
Before I was born
Tho the storms of life
Left it tattered and torn
Tho the middle was broken
And cracks along each side
The edges were glued
And strong like the tide
The waters raged in
And filled it with black,ugly sin
But alas,The "Son" did shine
and the canvas was white again
This time the canvas was a garden
of flowers,roses,water and fruit
Little birds of red,blue and green
Yellow,purple,even some pink
I wondered so carelessly
No fear I knew
Until my garden
The rains and winds blew
The trees were slit open
And the sands were blow out
Leaving big,deep holes
Pits that I could not climb out
I struggled and climbed,I would not give up
Then as the sands fell down,they formed a step from the pit
for me to climb up
At last I could see the "Son" shine again
I ran and I sang,and I danced so again!
Then I looked all around But I was lost and unfound
The trees where I were where I'd once been so gay
Were barren and black and empty of life that day
I begin to grow afraid,as the sun begin to fades
Fear came upon me
I began to panic and cry
The night was so black
Not a star in the sky
The beasts and the birds
I could only hear them cry
Lost in a front
No helper was there
My back was so heavy
Burdened down with my care
Where is this place
that I found only yesterday?
Why have my joy and peace
been totally wiped away?
Crying and sobbing to the trees that were near
I prayed desperately but nobody could hear
Alone and so helpless,i somehow found peace
As a hand from above rocked me to sleep
I awoke with a start and a jump full of dread
When I opened my eyes,water gushed over my head
I was drowning in sin,Now,Oh how could this be?
Does there not exist any one man who could ever care for me?
I've given my body,my heart and my soul
But now it's been taken,of it,I have no control
It's scared and it trembles and rumbles with fear
Fear that its meaningless to the one it holds dear
The water is rushing now,I have no control
So I say one last prayer and prepare to be washed away
When up out of the midst of the storms of my sea
Rose a man clad in silver,smiling at me
His horse is of white,His face I can't see
But His countenance is mighty,and valiant you see
His hair like an angels is flowing of blonde
And he reaches down
And touches me gently and fond
With one swoop of his arm,He lifts the whole weight of me
Oh! But the joy when he doesn't drop me!
Now the storms have all ceased and the billows wont roll
The forest is gone and no more is my wounded soul
The life and the love that He reached out for me
Oh! What Savior Who could this man be?
I wanted to ask him but awe took my voice
All I could do was gaze into his eyes and silently rejoice
Then He said,with a voice so strong and clear
"All you had to do was ask,and I would have saved you,my dear".
"For each time you cried,I watched and sat near,crying with pain when you wouldn't let me wipe away your fear."
"It was only when you finally gave up and let go,that I could come and cleanse your heart of the pain you used to know."
"For I created thee for joy,not for terror and fear,and always remember,though you can't always see me,I'm always right here."
"And someday we will go on a heavenly ride,and leave all your worries and fears all aside"
"But always remember,when darkness comes near,just call out my name,it is Jesus and I'm always right here."

Uphold me with thy Free Spirit

Hello friends! I'm back after a wonderful weekend with my dads! Today I want to talk about being "Free" in God's Spirit".Last time we talked,my dog was missing.We found her in the neighbor's yard and she had crawled in a small hole in the fence but could not get back out! The neighbor was laughing and said"Anytime you lose her,look here first!I keep filling in the holes and dogs keep digging back into my yard!" What a relief that she was ok and nobody stole her from me! Thank You Jesus! In Lamentations 3:25 it says,"The Lord is good unto them that wait for him,to the soul that seeketh him." Ephesians 4:29 says"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,but that which is good to the use of edifying,that it may minister grace unto the hearers." When we ask for the Holy Spirit to guide us in our actions,we will be in God's Will,and not our own,and God will begin to speak through us in a way that will not offend others. Galations 5:22,23 says,"But the fruit of the Spirit is love,joy,peace,longsuffering,gentleness,goodness,faith,meekness,and temperance against such there is no law."
The love of God will reach people's hearts before anything else. 1Thessalonians 5:19 says "Quench not the spirit."The Holy Spirit can move in many different ways.And if we give the spirit control,where the spirit of the Lord is,there is liberty.
One of the most wonderful things I enjoy about a church who allows the spirit to be free,is that God is free to move and bless the way he desires,and not just what we as people ALLOW him to do.People need to stop trying to put God in a box and just let him move.And you will find that God does not always move exactly the same way every time.Sometimes you feel like shouting,dancing,clapping,and sometimes you just feel a peace and you cry,God does miraculous things when we just take the box from around him and stop limiting him on what we will accept and receive! It should never be about what name is over the door,Baptist,Pentecostal,Methodist,Assembly of God,we all have one thing in common,We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins,was buried,resurected,and is now alive and well and working in each and every one of our lives! Let's stop the arguments over how we believe of certain things and just come together and praise God! When we get to Heaven there will not be signs that say,"Baptists go here,Methodists go here,Pentecostals go here..."We will all be there in one place together and we better start practicing now,because if we cannot get along down here,we may not make it up there!
We have got to stop thinking of what we have been taught,and give the Holy Spirit full control in our lives.
When I was in choir,I resigned after the first year.One day we were singing a song,I got so happy,that I was singing with all my heart and soul,and putting my all into it because I wanted the others to feel the joy I felt with me.The teacher told me I was getting too carried away,to sing quietly.I quit the choir that very year.People,when God's spirit comes over us,if we feel like getting loud,we should be free to do so!If we feel like being soft and peaceful,we should be free to do so.But if somebody is worshiping the Lord different than what another person thinks best,that should be ok,as long as they are following God's Spirit.That is what is important.Letting GOD'S spirit have full control!
If you have never experienced the Holy Spirit,ask the Lord to show it to you! I promise you that he will.And once you taste of his goodness,you will wonder how you ever survived without it! Just Keep Singing,Just Keep Singing,singing,singing!

Hello friends,This is "Dr Sunshine".I am very sad today but trying to keep my faith alive that my little lost puppy dog will be returning home soon.She got away this morning and she has not came back home.It has been several hours and normally she would be home by now. But I am still rejoicing in the Lord knowing that no matter what happens,all is well.
Isaiah 35:10-13 says:For as the rain cometh down,and the snow from Heaven,and returneth not thither,but watereth the earth and maketh it bring forth and bud,that it may give seed to the sower,and bread to the eater:So shall my word be that hoeth forth our of my mouth:it shall not return unto me void,but it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.For ye shall go out with joy,and be led forth with peace.The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing,and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn,shall come up the fir tree,and instead of the brier,shall come up the myrtle tree:and it shall be an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
Now,this is something to get excited about! Just like the rain and snow that God send to water the flowers and trees so they shall grow,He reigns down onto us his blessings! And even the mountains and the trees will rejoice with us! One time I was taking a walk and praying,and it was dark and kind of scary.This dog kept growling at me from a neighbor's yard. So I started singing praise to the Lord.I began to listen closely and the trees were whistling in the wind right in rhythm with my song! Pretty soon,the dog just shut his mouth and listened.I was not afraid anymore! And if we will just keep praising the Lord through our fears,and problems,we will be just fine! And when God gives us a promise of our blessing,It SHALL come to pass! He said it in his holy word.He will give us signs of our miracles if we will just look for them! And his blessings are Everlasting! That means that as long as we keep trying our best to obey God,he will never stop blessing us! So now is the time for us to get full of the joy of the Lord,and let others know that God is real! I love every one of you today and pray that God showers you with his joy this day! And make sure that you share his joy with others! That is what makes life worth living! The hope and joy in Christ to know that this is not all we have to look forward to! Dont Get Too Busy To Thank God for your Blessings

Hello Friends! Here I am again! I have been so busy that I just have not had time to write in my journal.Anyone busy?Summer time is the busiest time of year other than the fall when you have Halloween,Thanksgiving,and Christmas all in a row! LOL! My boys are back and forth with their dad for summer break and my husband and I are getting ready to start a Revival in July,of course my youngest Son is turning 15 on July 5th,and Father's Day is right around the corner.I got all my shopping done for Father's Day today! Man! Was it hot outside! I was saying "Lord! How bout some rain?"I took a shower in my own sweat!" But Praise God seasons only last for a while,and in Oklahoma the weather changes faster than a child grows,which is pretty fast! I thank God today for all the many blessings in my life.I thank him especially for blessing me with so many wonderful friends that I can count on when I really just need to talk or need a hug.God is so good. We are so blessed to live here in America where we have so many freedoms that other countries do not have.I thank God that we have the freedom to worship and Praise God in the way that we feel in our heart! I Thank God that we have food on our tables and a roof over our head and though finances are few right now,we still have our needs met.God is a God that honors his Word to his children.The Bible says,"I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread"...Thank You God for taking care of me and my family.Help me to always be thankful and not take any of your many blessings for granted! In Jesus Name,Amen! I want to wish all of you a Happy Father's Day and spend some quality time with your Fathers.For all those who have Father's who have gone on home to Heaven,or just live too far away,say a prayer for them and call them at least and tell them how much you love him.We are not promised tomorrow,so we must live every day as if it were our last,because it just might be! Wow! I skipped a couple of Days! Just not enough time in a Day to get everything done!

Today I feel like being "Pink"I love the color pink almost as much as I do purple.It is so feminine and sweet.I love every color in the rainbow however,they all have their own unique beauty! Did you know that colors have meaning?They really do.I will share some of what I know about what colors mean.Now keep in mind that these are what the colors mean and stand for in the Lord's army.Red stands for "The Blood" of Jesus that was shed for us to cleanse away our sins that we would be saved.Purple stands for "Royalty".The Bible says,"for he has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light..that we are a peculiar people,a royal priesthood,a holy nation..."Green stands for"New Life".Blue stands for "Prophecy"..Yellow stands for "the light of the World",the sun shining everyday is an example..Gold stands for "The Glory of God"...Silver stands for "The Promises of God"Black stands "for sin"...White stands for "Purity" and Holiness..Pink stands for "Heart of Compassion"...Orange stands for "Fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit".So there you go,when we have had church services we like to wave flags of all colors that represent the fullness and the complete Glory of God! God is full of glory and moves us from glory to glory when we walk in His Spirit! My husband preached a good message about this yesterday! It is available to watch on facebook now! Whatever is going on in your life,begin to look at it in colors.When we only see in black and white,sometimes life can get very depressing! There is nothing more depressing to me than a plain ole white or black room with no color or pretty things in it! That is just sad.God created all the beautiful colors of this world for us to enjoy! So if your depressed today,take a look at your surroundings.If they are dull and boring with no happy items or color in them,you can easily change that! Change your surroundings,and you will change your mood,change your mood,and you will change your life! We Made it to Day Two! WooHooo!!!

Hello all! It's me again."Dr.Sunshine". How is everyone doing out there today? Today is a pretty awesome day for me.I am speaking in faith and calling those things that are not as what they are gonna be very soon! Let me explain myself.(This might be helpful)..I am calling my allergic reactions all over my body cleared up and no more itching.I am calling my migraine gone and never to return in Jesus name.I am calling my sinus infection healed in Jesus name and new sinuses where the old ones were! I am calling my ears unplugged and perfect hearing in Jesus name! And last but not least I am calling my faith ten times stronger than it has ever been to see the miracles and the promises of God in mine and my families lives! In Jesus mighty Name! With all the Praise and Glory,AMEN! You see you have the power of life and death in your tongue.You can have the blessings of God or the curses of the devil all by what you speak and believe without doubt! God is a gentlemen.He does not force anything on his children,but gives us the choice.But His word says,"Choose life,that you and your family may live and live more abundantly!"Why would you want to choose death?That is a horrible,slow,agony to the end that NEVER ends! You see we are just practicing in this life where we are going to spend eternity in our next life.This fleshly body is just a flicker in the wind compared to the new body we shall have when we pass from this life into the next! I want to see those streets of gold,those walls of jasper,that crystal river,the tree of life,but most of all,I want to see Jesus,the one who died for me so that I might live forever in His perfect,glorious kingdom! So,even with all the ailments that the enemy has thrown upon my fleshly body today,How can I be down and depressed?I got the love of my life,The lover of my soul,and my Heavenly Father,God looking after me.As grandma always says,"This too shall pass."Life is all in seasons.If you do not like the season your life is in,Praise your way into the next.You will like it much better,I promise.Remember,What does not kill us only makes us stronger! Hello World,It's Me"Dr.Sunshine"

Hello World,It is me.Dr.Sunshine. Today I am having trouble seeing myself clearly as there are many clouds hovering over my light.The clouds are in the way,so I have to look really deep down within the clouds and behind them to see the sun shining.But I know that I know that God is still my creator.He Made the sun! He made the light that lives in me.So now I must focus on him and let him renew the light and love that is hiding at this moment and let Him bring it out of me so that I can share it with others.Sometimes others do not understand what God was doing when He created me because I am so different and unique from the average human being.Sometimes I ask the Lord the very same question."What were you thinking,Lord?"LOL!But never the less,I must accept that God made me exactly like I am for a purpose.Therefore,I must have faith and complete trust in Him that He that made me like this is not just going to leave me hanging on a limb about to fall,but he is waiting beneath every tree I climb a little too high to catch me when I fall! I thank God for making me special.One thing I am never accused of is being "BORING"! Thank You Lord! I hate it when I am bored!
